Wild-Tours

The aim of the tours is to show you animals in the wild, and the signs / tracks / calls that you need to pick up on to see truly wild nature.

You can book our Wild-Tours by phoning us on (03) 6289 8988 or filling in a booking request by clicking on the button below.

We have three different types of tours:

(1) Wild-Platypus ($49 adults / $29 children)

2 hour tour to seek out and observe the elusive platypus. These tours run on demand in Maydena every day … we just need little bit of notice to lock in a time for you.

We have a 99% strike rate on our tours, so you just need to listen to what the guides tell you and keep your eyes peeled !

(2) Wild-Spotlight ($395 for up to 4 people)

4 hour tour designed around sunset to see our nocturnal wildlife up close. You can see Platypus, Quolls, Goshawks, Wallabies, Possums, Masked Owls, Spiders and more. Of course you might even see a wild Tasmanian Devil – but that is very unlikely – if that’s your aim … check out our Wild-Devil experience.

The usual tour consists of a combination of travel in our 4WD vehicle, and some small amount of walking.

(3) Wild-Day ($395 for up to 4 people)

4 hour tour designed around seeing as many animals as you can during the daylight hours. Maydena provides great opportunities to see both Sea Eagles and Wedge Tailed Eagles, as well as Echidnas, Wallabies and Platypus. These are tours looking at WILD animals so you never know what you will get !

The usual tour consists of a combination of travel in our 4WD vehicle, and some small amount of walking.
